NTTRUNCNORMINV

Returns the inverse of the cumulative distribution function for a specified truncated normal distribution.

Syntax

NTTRUNCNORMINV(

  • prob,
  • Min,
  • Max,
  • Mu,
  • Sigma

)

 

Parameters

  • prob is a probability corresponding to the normal distribution.
  • Min is a lower limit of a support of the distribution a.
  • Max is a upper limit of a support of the distribution b.
  • Mu is a parameter the distribution \mu.
  • Sigma is a parameter the distribution \sigma\;(>0).

  • Restrictions of arguments:

    How to copy an example
